Without fully realizing it, fifteen years ago I was already drawn to the power of femininity — guided by an instinctive impulse, something dormant yet present beneath the surface.
Nudity has long existed as a language of art, shaped since antiquity. From the Aphrodite of Cnidus — one of the earliest representations of the female nude in Greek sculpture — the body became a space where beauty, desire, and symbolism converged. In this work, I choose to elevate feminine red hair, historically demonized and feared, reclaiming it as a force of presence and assertion.
Over time, direct encounters with radically different artistic values reshaped the legacy of the classical nude. By the twentieth century, modern art had begun to question inherited ideals of beauty, dissolving the Greek model as an absolute reference and opening new ways of seeing the body.
This series, rediscovered from 2006, reveals the early traces of that reflection — a moment where intuition preceded awareness, and where the gaze was already searching for another narrative.
